Mission Statement

The mission of the Volunteer Club is to get students involved in the community through service activities. Community service refers to voluntary, unpaid acts of assistance performed by individuals or groups, primarily to benefit others. The Volunteer Club's goal is to inspire our students to be productive lifelong community service leaders by encouraging a commitment to civic participation. Through involvement in the Peshtigo High School Volunteer Club, students work toward earning the President's Volunteer Service Award.

The Volunteer Club's mission is in line with the Peshtigo School Board's community involvement goal and with National Honor Society requirements for community service. Volunteer hours are also looked at favorably when applying for college admission and employment.

Peshtigo High School Volunteer Club is a certifying organization for the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation

Peshtigo High School Volunteer Club receives Young Philanthropist Award! (6/9/2011)
