Welcome to the Peshtigo School District!
The Peshtigo School District, through its commitment to attract, retain, and invest in exemplary educators, has earned its excellent reputation in northeastern Wisconsin. Many students from the surrounding public school districts have made the Peshtigo School District their choice destination for educational programming through the “Open Enrollment” Program.
Offering a student-centered philosophy, we challenge children to excel and maximize their potential as individuals. Using a continuum of services, students at the various stages of learning may progress at a rate conducive to their readiness.
Students at the primary grade levels benefit from small class sizes of no more than 18 students in their homerooms. Children have access to “intervention specialists” as well as before and after school instructional services to lend additional support should the need arise.
Peshtigo High School collaborates with UW-Marinette, UW-Green Bay, and NWTC in the dual credit programs and course articulation. This allows students to take college-level classes on-site with the District’s instructors and receive college credits which transfer to the various Universities in the UW-System. Additionally, Advanced Placement courses are offered in various core subjects.
The Peshtigo School District embraces the significance and impact of technology on today’s society and global economy. As a result, the District commits to a continual investment in staff development and the latest technological devices to promote enhanced learning opportunities for students.
The greater communities of the Peshtigo School District lie within an exquisite natural surrounding making it a great place to call “home.”
