With the passing of the referendum, the District will now be able to complete the necessary facility repairs AND renovate the Middle/High School to reinvigorate the entire school. Highlights of the repair & renovation plan are:
- Repair/replace major building mechanical systems such as heating and cooling, plumbing, lighting, but also doors and windows: The number one priority from the community survey.
- A new four-classroom addition to provide for enrollment.
- Safety and security improvements.
- Update spaces for career and college preparation such as technical education, life skills, art, and music, plus adds a gymnasium.
- Provide a modernized facility with updated finishes in all classrooms including new flooring, lighting, cabinetry, etc.
- Repair and expand areas such as labs, locker rooms, and add natural light where possible.
