We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Lighthouse Counseling Center to begin providing School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) services to students of all grade levels. This initiative is designed to support the mental wellbeing of students by offering accessible, high-quality telehealth counseling services during the school day.

Through this program, Lighthouse Counseling Center aims to break down barriers that often prevent families from accessing professional mental health care. By providing telehealth-based counseling within the school environment, students can receive the support they need in an accessible, convenient, and confidential manner.

About Lighthouse Counseling Center 

Lighthouse Counseling Center is a DHS-certified outpatient counseling clinic based in Green Bay, WI. We have developed a robust program to offer school-based services throughout Wisconsin to ensure that all students receive the support they need.

What This Means for Students and Families 

• Therapy sessions take place within the school for ease of access.
• Peshtigo Schools will collaborate with parents/guardians to submit referrals and help get students set up with services.
• Lighthouse Counseling Center operates independently from the school district, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.

Expanding Access Through Telehealth

In addition to school-based services, the Lighthouse Counseling Center team is also available to provide telehealth counseling to non-student individuals, couples, and families.

What is Public School Open Enrollment?  Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend a school other than the one in which they live.  Applications may be submitted to up to three nonresident school districts.
